    Payroll

    1. National Pension Scheme (NPS) is one of the Indian Government’s flagship social security initiative to provide financial cover to the individuals post retirement. Currently TalentOz is integrated with the NPS scheme, so the employee can submit the amount he contributed to NPS 80CCD (1) in 80C section under IT declaration section.
    2. Also employee has the option to Contribute to National Pension Scheme 80CCD (2) has included in NPS scheme having the limit 50,000 under IT declaration section.
    3. Now the system is equipped with changes so that the employees can contribute the % of amount under section 80CCD(1B) should be <=10% of (Basic, DA, Variable Dearness Allowance) only.
    4. In template master, “Template calculation type” & “Balance Accumulating Component” has been introduced. So now the clients can easily switch the salary calculation type (Gross Pay or CTC Pay) according to their needs and regulations. Also, previously the clients can keep the balance amount if any upon calculation added under ‘Special Allowance”, but now they can create their own component and added the Balance amount to that component.
    5. Per day salary calculation method has been modified now to cater the requirements of different clients. Previously it was against to the client, which has been modified as with respect to the pay cycle under the name of “Salary calculation method”
    6. As TalentOz grows across different geo locations, new “Taxation type” has been released in this version. So that different clients who has their presence across different countries can now calculate Income Tax as per the different Taxation types. So, based on the settings “Taxation type” (Indian Tax, Malaysian Tax etc.) which is defined against to the pay cycle. For ex. Malaysian deductions Components like SOCSO, HRDF, EIS, EPF, ZAKAT is considered in the payroll process based on the settings.
    7. Adding to the previous point different countries have different Statutory types.. So now the system will automatically calculate based on which country taxation type they choose in the taxation type in pay cycle settings. Also, the columns automatically get varied in “pay registry” page and its “Excel” download accordingly.
    8. New setting has been added from this version, previously ‘Processor” can be added for different employee groups. But from this version, the clients can define against to the pay cycle itself.
    9. To improve the system, new validation steps have been included in this version as it will throws an exception whenever the employee doesn’t have service date while providing “salary detail”.
    10. Also to improve the system, a new validation has been added, so that whenever the ‘Effective date” less than the service date then an exception will show to the users.
    11. Employee processed in “Attendance pay”, based on separation date compare with the pay cycle not considering the employee and employment status.

    Time and Attendance

    1. Add or Delete Timesheets for Project Members incorporated in this version. Also, they can add previous day task features smoothly from this version.
    2. Project owners can now easily submit the project members Timesheet entries and also for subordinates.
    3. System is now upgraded so that new task has been added by any roles like Self, Manager OR Project Owners based on their needs.
    4. For employees to raise adjustments in their DTR time records, First Time In and Last Time Out time feature has been modified so that the clients can now considered an employee’s last entry in the “Last Time Out” and “First Time In” entries as pair values and enable the employee to raise adjustment accordingly.
    5. Reminder Settings feature for Timesheet has been successfully incorporated in this version.

    Performance

    1. From this version, when user downloading a performance form (pdf) the user’s current time based on the work location will be shown in the document. Previously the server time displayed in the downloaded document.
    2. The system is enhanced with custom scoring logic in performance form. Now you can have multiple reviewers (360 degree) for a performance appraisal. Reviewers can be assigned in any roles like peer, manager, sub-ordinates etc. to get a complete picture of the employee’s performance.
    3. Few observations in Performance module has been successfully addressed.
    4. Now a simple and efficient user interface is provided to the users so that they can set score privileges in a Performance Appraisal form. Also, they can set privileges for who can view the scores of an employee from different reviewers.
    5. Feedback is critical and an important feature in improving performance of an employee. Continuous feedback ensures open communication and creates awareness among employees. To facilitate the feedback in the performance appraisal, Feedback section is added across all stages from preparing a form to closing the appraisal.
    6. Feedback works best when it relates to a specific Goal. So now the system is upgraded with Goals in a performance appraisal form and integrate with respective goal anchors. Also, the users can set values according to the range of the goal.
    7. Create UI for Load employees based on Employee Tag (Location Co-Ordinates).
    8. A performance appraisal may sometimes last for a year. So, in order to add flexibility Mid Term review concept has been integrated now along with 360-degree appraisal. So that any appraisal can now modified in the mid-way to include or modify new competencies, goals etc. to make the performance appraisal a smooth and more useful tool.
    9. System is now updated so that self also can also acknowledge manager’s form preparation stage itself.
    10. Scoring Sequence for reviewers is integrated in the appraisal form. So now the users can adjust the sequence settings based on their needs.
    11. Enabling Dynamic Component (OPEN ENDED) at Review stage is integrated with Appraisal form.
    12. “How It Is calculated” help link is shown in Overall Calculation Summary to show the formula/method to the users how the calculation is done in the system.
    13. Based on the work location, Timestamp will get updated in remarks section & 1:1 meeting section accordingly. Previously it displayed the server’s timestamp.
    14. From this version of TalentOz, a notification Mail will be sent to all the attendees in 1:1 meeting.
    15. After the completion of a performance appraisal, users can have “Enable promotion” feature based on their role privilege settings.

    Reports

    15 new reports are successfully incorporated in the system to benefit the clients who are using the system. They are as follows:

    2. Consolidated Timesheet Report
    3. Vacation Accrual Report
    4. Vacation Accrual Month Report
    5. Project Details by Hour Report
    6. Project Details by Cost Report
    7. Performance Analyser (360 report).
    8. Claim Cost center Distribution
    9. CMS Bank Transfer Report
    10. EOS Accrual Calculation report
    11. Medical Insurance Report
    12. Leave Accrual Report
    13. Unprocessed Payroll Employees
    14. Medical Insurance Report
    15. Leave Accrual Report

    General

    1. An enhanced and upgraded dashboard will now available based on privileges settings for NTC client.
    2. Now the system is updated to the users to download the Service desk requests in the PDF format.
    3. For Hiring requests and a new Opening requests form attachment option is now made available in the form. So, the users can attach any document for the request and will be shown in the hiring or opening request details page
    4. Mail Template UI settings and configuration has been modified and made available for Hiring request, manage evaluation and apply job portal pages.
    5. In previous versions of TalentOz, HR users use “Pending Activities” page to view the details and completed the tasks. As it is cumbersome, and it is a time taking process, now system is updated so that Mark as completed option is provided for HR users across different stages itself.
    6. Now all attendees in a separation process will be notified by an E-mail.
    7. Now HR uses are provided with “cancel request” option and a audit trial to track the list of activities across the different stages in a separation process. Previously it was done by the user who was assigned to a separation request.
    8. Adjusted Employees option in Leave Adjustment page has been successfully incorporated in this version.
