    Payroll

    1. OT calculations are now updated into two separate entities like Weekday and Weekend. Based on these two types users can now allow to set different set of OT wage calculations according to their company policies.
    2. Users can now set how much percentage % they want to calculate on unpaid leave calculation. For example, if they configure 0.5 leave to be deduct from unpaid sick leave, then for example if an employee availed 10 unpaid sick leave, then 5 days of leave updated in the LOP component.
    3. For Gulf clients, TalentOz now provide an option to choose whether the Pension component is available for employee or EOS calculation.
    4. Two new templates have been added in pay slip generation from this version.
    5. Bahraini National Pension has been successfully incorporated in this version.
    6. From this version onwards, LOP and Absent will be treated as a different component for processing payroll and the respective menu will be available under Payroll submenu list which can be accessed by HR. Previously it can be accessed only in settings page of payroll
    7. Based on the pay cycle settings, now statutory section will be made available in the Salary Tab.
    8. Arrear Days – Count shown in the Pay Registry or processed payroll is not showing the exact days with LOP.
    9. For Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) both Employee and Employer contribution calculation is successfully implemented in this version.
    10. On employee settlement process, Leave Encashment component formula is added successfully blended in the system.

    Claims

    1. Now users are allowing to create claim group for each claim type.
    2. Cost center to employee distribution has been successfully incorporated in this version of TalentOz.
    3. System is updated so that from now onwards, users can assign GL Code to any claim type and for any Business Unit.
    4. Added new field named as “claim group” in claim request form for each claim type.

    Time and Attendance

    1. From this version, Flexi Schedules are also including the approach of having Grace time and Under time. In the previous versions, only Fixed schedules follows the same.
    2. In previous versions, employee who worked OT needs to raise an OT request form to avail his OT working hours. But now the system is enhanced to calculate OT automatically based on the mandatory working hours and add the OT hours to the employees accordingly.

    Performance

    1. From this version, Users can create Dynamic components in Template user interface itself. for example, users can now create a question with a text area input to provide details in the template itself.
    2. Continuing from the previous point, Dynamic Components can also configurable now by which sequence they needs to displayed and able to assign for multi reviewers.
    3. Based on the score privileges on a performance form, remarks it may be individual or Overall remarks is being updated and incorporated in the system.
    4. Custom fields are integrated in the Employee service request form itself. So users can now add their own custom fields based on their requirements and can make their performance form more advanced and intuitive.
    5. From now onwards, Employee’s closed appraisal can be viewed in the “View past appraisal form” widget under the employee’s talent profile tab.
    6. Previously in the appraisal reviews, users send notification to the participants one at a time this makes the process little cumbersome, so from this version users can send bulk reminders to the participants.
    7. Few observations in Performance form User Interface has been successfully addressed in this version.
    8. In the previous versions of TalentOz, Performance score are calculated based on only the star ratings provided by the employee or manager respectively. But this form of scoring is not universal, and some clients opt for a Percentage (%) based scoring. So now TalentOz included both the types of scoring to make the system more flexible.

    Reports

    New reports in Payroll & Time and Attendance modules are successfully incorporated in the system to benefit the clients who are using the system. They are as follows:

    1. Bank Transfer by Payout
    2. Bank Statement Report
    3. Pay Recovery Report for NTC
    4. CTC report for NTC
    5. Project Amount Using Employee GOSI
    6. Payroll Master Data by Account Code
    7. Auto Overtime Calculation report
    8. OT Report – Audit & Additional OT with Rates & Amount

    General

    1. Now users can import the statutory details of the employees.
    2. Now users can import the cost center employee distribution.
    3. Date format for all tags in the Letter Templates has been successfully modified and updated in the system.
    4. New tags (Gross salary, CTC, Current date) has been added in the Letter Template for Gulf clients to improve their efficiency of the system.
    5. In Gratuity calculation page, in previous version there is no provision for knowing the exact number of work days of an employee, from this version, users can get to know how many work days employee has been in the service right from their Joining date to the separation date for calculation.
    6. Few observations in separation and Recruitment & Onboarding modules has been successfully addressed in this version.
    7. HR users are now provided with an option to easily delete the employee photo of any
      employee.
    8. Organization’s different work locations can now made to download
    9. In leave module from now onwards users can download the work flow approvals. Downloaded document will display all the work flow approvals with all corresponding statues.
    10. When an employee resumption the duty some time, now from the UI itself status can be viewed about the approval status.
    11. In the service desk requests, now users can choose their desired action (Approve / Reject) in the request mail itself.
    12. Any request can be created, submitted, pending for action, and the request getting either approved or rejected in the workflow. From this version of TalentOz employees cannot do any modifications in the request which are in the pending status.
    13. A new role has been derived from HR and added in the application and provided with view access only. The new role cannot perform other actions like add, edit or delete operations. This feature is now made available only in Employee and Organization modules only.
