    Hi there! To wrap up the year, here are the modifications/upgrade in the application we delivered for you:

    Employee

    1. Based on the role privilege settings new employee dependent details component is enabled for Singapore region.
    2. Also, in the dependent details Singapore section, change request process is activated for ESS and MSS. For HR users they can manage the dependent details directly.
    3. Application is now modified with newly enabled additional employee profile components in the “Add Employee” wizard based on settings: 1. Correspondence address 2. More Fields.
    4. From this version, in employee profile section HR users can provide more characters for email’s domain name.
    5. HR users can now choose employment status rom the advanced filter option provided in employee dependent details. The same also included in Malaysia report too.
    6. Import option is enabled for dependent details Singapore to make it more usable option for our users.
    7. Role privileges enabled for below employee profile components for all the context.
    8. Correspondence address 2. More Fields
    9. While downloading employee profile PDF document from this version HR users can view career progression details with E-transfer transactions as well as manual E-Transfer transaction details too.
    10. A report to download and for view purpose has been successfully enabled for dependent details Singapore.
    11. An auto retirement date calculation is enabled based on nationality of the employees. Auto retirement logic settings is enabled under Employee category for the HR users to configure according to their policies.
    12. Remarks field is integrated in career progression section while process employee movement.
    13. In dependent details section, based on the position details system will now display the dependent details for India and Malaysia regions.
    14. Also, in statutory details section, based on position details of the employee system will now display the Statutory details for India and Malaysia regions.
    15. Role privilege has been successfully enabled to display the new joinee widget.
    16. There are some challenges when an organization rehire an employee. HR users can mitigate these challenges by creating a rehire policy to ensure that they have consistency across the organization. From this version, TalentOz application introducing a feature to recruit the separated employees based on role privileges using Rehire option.
    17. Custom career progression import is integrated with Position History user interface to make this more usable for the HR users.
    18. In Service request report feature both HR and Global HR context has been successfully integrated in this version.
    19. In Dependent details report age calculation is included in Dependent details report for all the dependents of the employee.

    Performance

    1. Performance appraisals are periodic assessments of employee performance by supervisors and managers. Appraisals are typically done once a year, usually on forms authorized by the HR department. From this version, in appraisal form remarks option enabled in open-ended non scoring components for all the custom managers to enter and view the feedback during the review stage.
    2. Role privilege has been successfully enabled to control the remarks privileges for all the participants in performance appraisal for the Remarks option in Open-ended non scoring components in performance appraisal.
    3. Performance appraisal can be described as a formal process of assessment and evaluation of the employees on an individual level. Now system designed to support the multiple performance appraisal form to compare the scoring and remarks.
    4. Enabled dynamic performance components in Performance appraisal PDF downloads.
    5. Also, remarks option has been successfully enabled for open-ended components in all stage based on performance template settings.
    6. From this version, mail notification is enabled for invitees while assigning invitees for performance appraisal to make the process more comprehensive.

    Learning

    1. iCalendar standard is used by many internet scheduling and calendaring applications. In TalentOz, we included this format in many features for the better scheduling purposes. From this version, it is extended to postpone session too.
    2. Auto reject process is integrated with Learning request process for Internal Training Program.
    3. Also, auto rejection has been successfully integrated in Learning Request List and Learning list report.
    4. Employee learning and development refers to the continued efforts of an organization to boost the performance of its employees. From this version, system designed to allow employees to attend the learning session even when resource applied for half day leave.

    Leave

    1. Integrated auto rejected status & auto approval status details in leave transaction report.
    2. Leave application and Leave cancellation audit has been successfully integrated in Leave form to make the leave process for HR users more comprehensive.
    3. Child Care Leave criteria is integrated in Leave Accrual.
    4. Employee tab is integrated to show all the employee’s leave details in calendar for employee role based on role privilege settings provided by the HR users.
    5. Integrated below columns in Leave List report to fetch new leave fields: 1. Hire date 2. Resignation Date 3. Partial Days 4. Partial Day type in Leave List Report
    6. Leave accrual service is enabled for next year to run the leave accruals for the benefit of employees who can apply for the next year.
    7. System designed to summarize the previous leave period’s leave balance summary after the manual yearend leave process.
    8. In Year End Leave Process the following details have been successfully integrated: 1. System designed to show the leave balance summary details which is carry forwarded from previous leave period to next leave period and will be updated and displayed in scheduled and taken of previous leave period. 2. Also, the Lapsed leave balance of employees is now successfully integrated in previous leave period after doing manual year end process.
    9. From this version, system designed to validate apply leave process when there is no enough balance for next leave period across the leave period.

    Claims

    1. Sometimes, employees — not just employers — the ones who incur business expenses. That’s where claims management process comes in. The claim process allows employers to pay back employees who have spent their own money for business-related expenses. In claim form page, Invoice date and Invoice number duplicate validation against employee has been successfully integrated.
    2. Dependent details enabled in claim type settings. Also in the form, dependent details too integrated with claim form while apply claim.
    3. Claim balance report has been now modified to fetch Parent and Child claim type based on claim limit.
    4. Dependent details component is integrated with claim type settings for India, Malaysia, and Singapore countries. Also, employees while applying claim dependent Details component is integrated while apply claim form for India, Malaysia, and Singapore.
    5. Every 4 years & 5 years occurrence logic is enabled in claim process while apply claim based on date validation in the settings page for the HR users.
    6. Claim Currency Conversion integration has been successfully implemented in this version of TalentOz.
    7. Users can now able to view claim balance summary details in Application based on role privilege settings.
    8. Claim Validation can happen for every 3, 4 & 5 years occurrence based on the calendar year validation to make the system more comprehensive for the HR users.
    9. Performance is optimized to improve the list view load with huge records in the Learning request list.
    10. In claim approval performance has been optimized successfully to load more claim type details and pay out details.
    11. Integrated below columns in Claim report to fetch new custom fields: 1. Hire date 2. Resignation Date 3. Conversion Rate 4. Claim Receipt Currency Amount 5. Converted Amount for the Itemized Claim Report.
    12. In claim form, current year, past year and next year is enabled in Pay out details section to approve the claim form to plan for the payroll process based on past, current and next year.
    13. Claim entitlement process is integrated with claim module when user can entitle for financial year / monthly / yearly limit.

    Time & Attendance

    1. OT Process is always a tricky subject which includes various components to calculate the OT hours worked by the employee. By keeping this into account an Email notification is integrated for assigned to Users while initiate “Shift Schedule Change Request”.
    2. Performance optimization has been implemented to fetch the unique records in DTR Check-In / Check Out service and in the OT List by Close Date Report.
    3. Role privilege is enabled to initiate Overtime proposal. Also, in the OT proposal schedule hours has now enabled in the process to know the schedule hours details while applying OT by users.
    4. Overtime proposal hours validation is integrated in OT proposal form based on OT Policy settings by the HR users. Also, they can manage and process the Overtime proposal request based on role privilege.
    5. OT policy setting has been successfully Integrated with OT Proposal Request to validate monthly OT proposal hours based on employee group.

    Payroll – India

    1. Help icon is integrated in all the payroll components to view how the calculation has been done in the employee processed payroll. Also, an override option too enabled for all the payroll components to override the existing processed values.
    2. A report has been successfully enabled for users to view all the processed payroll information based on the role privileges to make this process more comprehensive.
    3. CTC Payslip download option is enabled based on template settings.
    4. IT Declaration – Additional section and payroll component details added for Indian statutory in IT declaration.
    5. Export as excel option is enabled for Payroll exemption details.
    6. While HR users processing payroll, from this version arrear component’s calculations derived in Employee Process Payroll Help Text provided.
    7. Application performance should always be taken into consideration when evaluating new technologies or making architectural decisions, including increased use of software as a service. As a part to improve our application performance in this version we made some performance improvements in salary details page to handle huge data.
    8. IFSC code is integrated with all Indian payroll and Bank statement reports.
    9. In Income Tax declaration page, system designed to change the IT schemes and the changes will be triggered for approval. Also, payroll processor (HR user) can now be able to acknowledge the IT schemes changes done by users.
    10. Publish payslip option is enabled for payroll processor against paycycle employees or all employees in the payroll overview page.
    11. Download IT statement option is enabled for payroll processor against paycycle employees or for ALL employees in the payroll overview page to make the system more comprehensive.
    12. Bulk payslips download option is enabled to download multiple employee’s payslip or for ALL employee’s payslip.
    13. Payslip email notification is successfully enabled to send payslip for pay cycle’s employees, or all employees based on email template in payroll overview page.
    14. In mid-month payroll process, EPF as well as EIS calculation has been successfully integrated.

    New reports are successfully incorporated in the Payroll – India module to benefit the clients using the system. They are as follows:

    1. Salary format is integrated for a reputed bank.
    2. Pay Registry by Departed Company Report
    3. Bank Format Report Changes for the below reports: 1. Bank Statement Report, 2. A leading bank to Other bank Report and 3. Another leading bank Report
    4. Pay Registry Report – Active employee status is integrated with Pay registry report.
    5. Summary Statutory Payment Report
    6. Termination Benefit Report
    7. Payroll Custom Report – Performance is optimized to load payroll details efficiently.
    8. CTC History Report – CTC history details report can be generated based on custom duration.

    Payroll Malaysia

    1. SOCSO calculation is integrated with mid-month payroll process.
    2. New payslip template is integrated for Singapore payroll process to generate payslip for Singapore region.
    3. As a part of enhancing security over payslip documents, password protection is successfully integrated with payslip download from system as well as email notification based on paycycle configuration.

    New reports are successfully incorporated in the Payroll module for Malaysia to benefit the clients using the system. They are as follows:

    1. ZAKAT Report – DAT format is enabled for this report.
    2. Basic Reconciliation Report
    3. Zakat – CIMB Text file Report
    4. Salary Details Report – Performance optimization to bring more details in salary details report.
    5. LHDN Text File – CIMB Report changes
    6. For a leading bank in Malaysia – EIS Report changes
    7. CIMB EPF text file Report Changes
    8. Employer Contribution Report

    Android

    1. Attachment upload option in apply leave is successfully designed and implemented to support higher versions of Android.
